(A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!)

The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub is located in the Village at Squaw Valley, at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and just minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Come and join us!

The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub Squaw Valley was created to bring the spirit of a traditional Irish pub to the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. With its dark wooden floors and authentic decor, the Auld Dubliner has the feel of a village pub in rural Ireland.  It brings to life a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality, and friendly banter.

We offer authentic Irish Fayre and American classics, with a menu selection ranging from Shepherd’s Pie or Fish & Chips to our perfectly seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers round out the menu, featuring Boar’s Head premium sandwich meats and Painted Hills all natural grass-fed beef. Our new breakfast menu is sure to satisfy your hunger before you hit the slopes at world-class Squaw Valley Ski Resort.

At the Auld Dubliner, we pour the “perfect pint” in 20-oz. Imperial pint glasses. You won’t find a better Guinness on draught! We also feature Harp and Smithwicks on tap, as well as a huge selection of spirits and whiskeys, including Jameson, Bushmill’s and Midleton Irish.

The Auld Dubliner In The Press

Tahoe lodges freshen up their ski fare – Irish pub grub

At Squaw Valley, which has spent the past half-dozen or so years packing its village with upscale restaurants… I got a tip about Squaw’s Auld Dubliner, a cozy Irish pub, while on a lift at Northstar (without identifying myself as a reporter) speaks to the draw of a quality, reasonably priced meal at the Tahoe resorts.

On a recent Wednesday afternoon at the Auld Dubliner, boarders snacked on potato and goat cheese crostini and filled up on traditional Irish fare like shepherd’s pie, Irish stew, and bangers and champ. Needless to say there’s beer on tap — Guinness, Boddington’s and six others — and a shelf full of Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey. –

#1 Auld Dubliner Irish Pub –

“Whether you want to watch the game, get a drink before, during, or after skiing, or just hang out late night and get a little rowdy, the Auld Dubliner’s got you covered. It’s got the feel of a traditional Irish pub, the best Guinness on draft in Tahoe, and a big selection of Irish whiskeys (go figure). There’s also live music most weekends to help get the party started.” –

The Best Damn Places to Drink at Squaw Valley – THRILLST

“The Dubliner… it’s where you’ll probably find yourself at the end of the night. Not only is this the only Irish bar in all of not-South-Lake-Tahoe, it’s also a ridiculously legit one with a crazy-good Irish whiskey selection overseen by Randy, who’ll pour you three shots at a time in Jameson bottle-shaped serving trays. God bless you Randy.” – Thrillist

6 Squaw Valley Must-Do’s for Your Next Trip

“The Auld Dubliner brings a bit of Irish festivity to the snowy Sierras. And by that, we mean a combination of tradition with California vibe and a fun scene that often goes strong ‘till 2 a.m. Based on the idea of a cottage pub in Ireland, the Auld Dubliner hosts live music and local bands, and the dark wooden bar fosters a cozy, raucous scene that is all too happy to partake in traditional Irish drinks and beers until the wee hours. It is possible to catch the Auld Dubliner on a quiet night, but on the right night, don’t exactly plan on being first in line for the lift the next day.” –

Squaw Nightlife – Squaw Bars

“If your ideal Squaw nightlife scene is a bit more traditional, you’ll love the Auld Dubliner. This Irish pub is a great spot to enjoy live music and of course, whiskey and beer.”
